Aspire Katara Hospitality has appointed Atkya Art as the main art consultant for their flagship restaurant, Feeh Al A’afia, located in the heart of Katara Cultural Village. In this exciting project, Atkya Art has teamed up with the esteemed Qatari artist Shua’a Ali to design and fabricate a unique art installation that reflects the rich history and cultural heritage of Feeh Al A’afia.

Drawing inspiration from Qatar’s traditional games, the centerpiece of this installation is the “Dama” – a board game similar to Checkers or Draughts, historically cherished by Qatari fishermen during their tranquil moments at sea.

The art installation at Feeh Al A’afia not only pays homage to Qatar’s cultural roots but also celebrates the fusion of artistic brilliance and historical significance. This immersive experience transports visitors through time, igniting cherished memories and connecting with the present.
