In 2019, Atkya Art was appointed as the Art Consultant to curate and style the artworks for “Souk Kitchen Restaurant.” The design brief was to create a Middle Eastern look inspired by the old souks of Marrakesh. The vibrant marketplace atmosphere of the souks, bustling with life and color, served as a rich source of inspiration for this project.

The brand name “Souk,” which refers to a traditional marketplace in northern Africa or the Middle East, perfectly captures the essence of this artistic endeavor. Atkya Art’s curation aimed to bring the authentic feel of these old souks into the restaurant, reflecting the lively and diverse culture of the Arab region.

The artworks feature vibrant colors and motifs from Arabesque design, which are beautifully integrated into the restaurant’s decor. Each piece tells a story, transporting diners to the narrow streets filled with bustling bazaars and the rich heritage of the Arab world.

Atkya Art’s dedication to authenticity and attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this project, creating an immersive dining experience that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East.
